The report, prepared by Market-Visio / Gartner Group by request of AVentures Ukrainian venture capital firm, highlights the current status of Ukraine in the world IT Services Export market. This is the first international research of the Ukrainian IT industry.

The key findings of the research particularly indicate Ukrainian IT-services export revenue will double over the next two years, or 40-50% growth annually. Taking into account salaries growth dynamics in Russian companies involved in IT services and products export business, the Gartner Group analysts admire that in Ukraine average salary in the companies engaged in the export business is 30-50% lower compared to Russian companies. Also Ukraine possesses competitive advantage in costs comparatively with the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, which will be joining European Union in 2004.
