eSP Consortium strengthens its presence in Western Europe
The annual and the world's largest IT trade show CeBIT 2005 dedicated to the progress in the sphere of high-technologies took place since the 10th till the 16th of March in Hanover, Germany. The fact that this year it was opened by the Chancellor of Germany — Gerhard Schroeder — highlights the importance of the fair. An exhibition proved to be rich in business contacts with representatives of companies from Western Europe and USA. Over one hundred business contacts aimed at both the development of eSP Consortium export business and the integration of program systems and IT-consulting into Ukrainian and CIS markets were established.
In the course of the exhibition the meeting of collective exposition of program members with the Swiss government delegation headed by the Minister of Economy of Switzerland Mr. Joseph Deiss was held under the auspices of SIPPO. Achievements of eSP Consortium in bridging productive and friendly business-dialogue between Switzerland and Ukraine were particularly notable among other SIPPO member-companies.
During the meeting with Mr. Deiss, Vladimir Beñk (Business Development Director of eSP Consortium) highly appreciated a considerable assistance of the SIPPO organization in providing favorable conditions for the development of IT-products and services being imported into Switzerland. Specifically, the gross sales of IT-services rendered by eSP Consortium increased by 35% in 2004 owing to the expansion of partnership with enterprises of Switzerland and other countries of Western Europe. Swiss government delegation was also represented by: Mrs. Elisabeth Zoelch-Balmer, Minister of Economy in the canton of Bern, Mr. Kurt Zibung, Minister of Economy in the canton of Shwits, Mr. Walter Duss, Vice-President of Simsa (Swiss association of interactive media applications and software manufacturers), Mr. Boyko Doytchinov, Head of SIPPO' partnership programs and other official persons.
