An international IT-training program for young specialists organized by international group of consultancies Sigma together with Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics (KhNURE) and Växjö University (Sweden) has been launched today.
In the light of high requirements world economy brings forward, specialist training becomes a serious issue not only for educational establishments but also for business organizations. That is why cooperation agreement was signed between KhNURE and Växjö University under Sigma auspices during KhNURE specialists’ visit to Sweden this spring. The agreement presupposes student exchange and collaboration on educational programs. Under this collaboration, Business Intelligence training will be available for the students this autumn pioneering Ukrainian BI training. Today BI is one of the most called for IT-fields. It is based on the business need in receiving, analyzing and structuring companies’ most valuable asset – corporate information. The training course will help students gain knowledge of Business Intelligence technologies as well as real BI solutions which allow consolidating all the corporate information available into one corporate database and getting integral business picture in order to forecast companies’ further development. The program initiators believe that it is international cooperation of educational establishments that is the key to success. Today most of the IT-projects are fulfilled by international teams and it is very important for young specialists to learn how to work together with foreign colleagues. Linking two different educational systems and experience exchange allows generating new educational standards and bringing student training into completely new level. |

The Swedish-Ukrainian educational program initiated by Sigma granted 20 students from Kharkiv universities with an opportunity to study together with their Swedish fellow-students and work with tutors from various countries. Sigma interest in cooperation with KhNURE is prompted mainly by high standards of student training the university attained, especially in the field of IT.
